(Past Event) Take Note & Friends Concert at St. Paul’s

On Friday, October 12th, at 7:30 pm, the Take Note vocal ensemble will be performing a benefit concert at St. Paul’s Church, Newmarket. They will be joined with solo performances by Kate Applegate (organ) and Adam Parker (piano).

Take Note, a twelve voice, 4-part vocal ensemble sings a wide variety of music from many genres – folk, traditional, pop, classical, jazz – and are accompanied by Lois Brown and Dale Matsushige. They recently sang to a sold-out crowd at the Sharon Temple Illumination celebration. In addition, Kate Applegate will perform several well-known pieces on the St. Paul’s organ, and we’ll also be entertained by U of T graduate (Performance, Piano) Adam Parker.

Tickets are only $15.00, and are available by calling the church office at 905-853-7285, or will be available at the door. The church is located at 227 Church Street (at D’Arcy) in Newmarket.

There will be a wine bar at this event. Doors open at 7:00 pm.
