The “Take Note” vocal ensemble will be joined by special guests, the jazz duo “Take 2”, to perform a benefit concert “Strawberries and Song” on June 22nd at 7:30 pm at St. Paul’s Anglican Church in Newmarket. Price of admission will include a delicious Strawberry Shortcake during intermission! Take Note performs classical, pop, jazz, and traditional vocal music in four (or more) parts and have performed at a multitude of local and distant venues, with various guests including The True North Brass and The Newmarket Citizen’s Band, to enthusiastic crowds.
This is a new twist on the traditional spring “strawberry social” that you don’t want to miss! Tickets are only $15.00 and are available by calling 905-853-7285. Tickets will also be available at the door. There will also be a cash beer and wine bar at this event.
