Jacob received his formal music training at McGill University where he completed an undergraduate degree in Jazz guitar and a master’s degree in music theory in 2014 and 2017 respectively. As a guitarist, Jacob has performed and recorded with many fine musicians, including pianist/composer Matt Choboter (Vancouver/Copenhagen), trumpet player Simon Millerd (Salt Spring Island), the cooperative ensemble Nomad (Montreal), and pianist/composer Pablo Held (Germany).
