We sometimes join forces with organizations within our community to assist in whatever way we can.

We now have the Scout program meeting at St. Paul’s! – Welcome to the Silver Birch group – the Cub Pack!

We’ve joined up with AURA and Newmarket Together to sponsor a family fleeing from Afghanistan. – We are waiting on the Government to do their part!

The Newmarket Food Pantry – Many members of St. Paul’s participate in the running of the local food bank. Volunteers serve either in direct service to clients or on the board. People regularly donate food to the bank by bringing in items on Sunday morning.

Inn from the Cold – Many parishioners donate their time and talents several times a year at the Community Meals held at the shelter. Others volunteer their time assisting clients at the shelter.  We have a team entered in this year’s (2023) “Coldest Night of the Year” walk, and have more than doubled our fundraising goal!

Romanian Orthodox Church – A mission parish (dedicated to Romania’s most popular holy woman, St. Parascheva) operates out of St. Paul’s. Celebrations of the Divine Liturgy are held Sunday afternoons and other services are held from time to time. Father Mihail (“Mike”) Cristea is the priest in charge.
